old doodle

Here's my version of one of Emily's Blue Sky Dining characters ^_^ I drew this a few weeks ago, when I was busy drawing everyone else's characters ... but not my own ... (which was fun, but not a good idea) So, designed by Emily, posed by me :D

Got my files off the school's network today, so might as well post the whole thing. The colours are different on every monitor I view them on, so hopefully you're lucky and have the good stuff 0_0 (it's sloppy and needs to be redone anyway)

And, um, prop design .... it's not an accident that this one's tiny ....

Flash Animations

Here's a dialogue assignment, first time using cutouts this year.

And another one, older. Just practicing lip synch in this one, there's not much real animation, and it's pretty messy .... The sound clip is Cary Grant from Arsenic and Old Lace, by the way.

And for our special effects assignment. I wanted to do it traditionally, with pencil and paper, but I wasted a lot of time with my first idea (I wanted to do a campfire, with a bucket of water being thrown onto it .... but it was a little too ambitious....)

Yeah, that's it for now.

Once I figure out what format to convert my videos to so that Youtube will play them, I'll post more of my traditional stuff ..... they're a lot better, me no flash pro yet .... that's what I'll be doing this summer :D

Final Design Project

I'll probably end up redesigning Artemis slightly.... he feels kinda generic to me, maybe it's the hair ... I didn't give myself enough time to do much experimenting.

Rough Model Pack Lineup

From left to right, Artemis Fowl, Butler, Holly Short, Commander Root, Foaly :) I'm still not happy with Butler, but I don't have time to make him perfect. I'd like eventually to design Juliet and Mulch and a few others, and maybe do some animations with these guys over the summer.

I'll put my poses up too once they're all on model.

Big kitty :P I hate the way its tail wags like a dog near the end U_U But I like the rest of it.

Bella & Henry

These are the two characters I did for a 2-character dialogue assignment, supposed to be UPA style. Bella looks a bit like Fred Flinstone and a bit like Wilma, so perhaps this is really Pebbles in her later years? Heheh.

I'm working on a Flash builds for both of them, which I'll post when they're done.
